The sliding blades of this tool and diemakers square can be adjusted at an angle (up to approximately 10 Deg) with the beam for measuring the clearance in dies. 2 1/2″ with Standard/Narrow Blades.

The inch reading blade is graduated on one side, upper edge in 32nds, lower edge in 64ths
Graduated blade, 32nds of an inch on one side, and 64ths on other. It is 5/32″wide over a length of 1-5/8″ and cut away at one end to a width of 3/32″
The blade can be held in position by tightening the clamping screw
Head and blades are hardened and ground
