Description
Base oils for CUT-MAX® 570-au are highly selected
premium grade refined stocks. The organic diluent
and carrier for the chlorine has exceptional wetting
and penetrating characteristics to insure an effective
flow of the coolant to the chip-tool interface.
CUT-MAX® 570-au has a high chlorine content that is
stable, effective and provides needed ant-welding
and extreme pressure characteristics. Other additives
are compounded into the base to give excellent
machining characteristics at all cutting speeds, and
under heavy-duty conditions In addition, a special
anti-mist additive has been incorporated in CUTMAX® 570-au to help you meet the 5 mg/m3
limitation on oil mist that OSHA imposed
Applications
A large manufacturer of fasteners gets excellent
results thread rolling high temperature alloys with
CUT-MAX® 570-au. Finishes are better and costing
per piece is reduced because of increased die life.
CUT-MAX® 570-au has also been used for grinding
and up to boaching operations on steel and steel
alloys.
Recommendation For Use
CUT-MAX® 570-au is used neat as supplied. Sump
temperatures above 50°C should be avoided.
Benefits
Faster cutting of difficult alloy – Reduces cycle
times and process costs.
More production, longer tool life
