The Mitutoyo 148 series small-size micrometer head has a vernier scale in inch units for taking precise measurements to 0.5”. A setscrew offers adjustable zero-setting to help provide accuracy. The micrometer is available with a plain stem for mounting in a fixture with a split-body clamp or setscrew, or a clamp-nut stem for quick mounting. The vernier scale is graduated to 0.001”, and has a satin chrome rust- and glare-resistant finish. The measuring face is lapped to help provide accuracy.
