The Mitutoyo 342-251-30 Digimatic coolant-proof point micrometer features pointed tips on the anvil and spindle to measure web thickness of drills, small grooves, keyways and other difficult to reach areas. This micrometer has an IP65 dust and water protection level. The Mitutoyo Digimatic pointed digital micrometer features 15-degree pointed anvil and spline to measure small grooves on parts or workpieces along with keyways and web thicknesses on drills with superior accuracy. The pointed anvil and spindle contacts are ideal at measuring small, hard-to-reach areas which a normal or reduce-diameter spindle and anvil are unable to access. A ratchet-stop mechanism provides uniform pressure on a workpiece for precise, repeatable measurements. Measurements are displayed on an easy-to-read LCD readout.
