These gauge blocks are manufactured from heat treated high chrome steel, giving resistance to corrosion and superior resistance to wear. All sets are supplied with a certificate of inspection.
A Mitutoyo gauge block set with all blocks made of special tool steel, heat treated and aged to give good wear resistance and small secular change. Excellent inter-set wringing properties and will wring to optical flats or gauge blocks made of any other material.

Gauge block hardness is 800 HV (64 HRC) for high wear resistance
