The chuck grease not only lubricates the jaws continual movement & wear, but creates the clamping pressure required to hold jobs. Without regular chuck grease applied, your power chuck will prematurely wear & fail, this could potentially throw jobs out.
Kitagawa has had this particular chuck grease formulated by Molybond laboratory’s to be specifically increase clamping pressure, proned to coolant washout & handle extreme pressure required.
Regular auto grease will just spin out at high speed & turn bad with coolants.
Simply grease 1 x pump into grease nipples each day – no need to grease excessively.
