If you want to drill deeper than the specified depth of your core bit ensure mandrel or adaptor rod does not exceed the diameter of the core bit.
Larger and heaver core bits (over 80mm) are recommended to use Hex or SDS Max shanks to avoid SDS Plus chuck damage.
Centre pilot drills are required to control starting the cut.
