The Mitutoyo 146-223 groove micrometer with non-rotating spindle has a flanged spindle and measuring discs constructed of hardened steel to precisely measure width, depth and location of grooves, inside/outside bores and tubes. The Mitutoyo groove micrometer’s two-direction ratchet stop provides a constant measuring force on the spindle to ensure accurate, repeatable measurements of groove depths and widths. The sleeve and spindle contain measurements for both inside and outside diameters laser etched for precise, easy reading.
