The Mitutoyo 103-172 Outside Micrometer uses a simple design to provide accurate measurements. It uses ratcheting gears to provide a constant measuring force on any materials that require it for reliable readings. The entire frame of the micrometer is covered in a baked enamel finish to provide additional durability.
