Description

The Mitutoyo 151 series micrometer head has a wide 8mm-diameter spindle for heavy-duty use and a vernier scale in inch units for taking precise measurements. It is available with a plain stem for mounting in a fixture with a split-body clamp or setscrew, or a clamp-nut stem for quick mounting. The vernier scale is graduated to 0.001” or 0.0001” depending on the model, and has a satin chrome rust- and glare-resistant finish. The flat measuring face is carbide-tipped for wear resistance and is lapped to help provide accuracy.
