The Mitutoyo small hole gage features a hardened steel, precision machined split half ball on each gage for high-accuracy, two-point contact measurements throughout the entire column of small bores. The extra-long half ball small hole gage set allows for gaging both deep and shallow holes and slots. The split ball is constructed of hardened steel for accurate, repeatable two-point contact measurements. These hole gages are used with outside micrometers for measuring the inside diameter of bores.
