The Mitutoyo 523-122 dial snap meter features a built-in dial indicator and retractable anvil for fast comparisons, GO/NG inspections for a multitude of applications. The snap micrometer can easily be set with a master such as a gage block to a nominal value.The button on the side can be pressed to open up the anvils slightly to make removing and putting parts between the anvils fast and easy.From there the operator and quickly and accurately measuring their parts.The Mitutoyo dial snap meter and dial indicator are manufactured in our factory in Japan with the same durability and precision as our micrometers. The spindle, anvil and frame are constructed of hardened steel to resist flexing so results are more accurate. The anvil trigger has a balanced spring and operates easily with a button on the anvil side of the frame. The retractable anvil allows for faster workpiece throughput without sacrificing accuracy.The dial snap meters are a great inspection tool for measuring a high volume of parts that are all the same dimension.
