The SUMP SOAKER is to clean up smelly, dirty tramp oils in lathe & mill machine coolant tanks.
SUMP SOAKER – tramp oil disperser is hydrophobic , meaning it allow water to pass through it as a filter , however captures oils, just like a sponge.
So Sump soaker simply hang in your coolant tank, it will collect all the dirty tramp oil (usually from slideway/tramp oil) – after a while , throw it out & replace. Just acts like a tampon.
This will ensure a nice clean coolant enviroment in you CNC or manual machines.
NOTE; If your coolant is having a black scummy “tramp” oil coating on top of coolant, then you are loosing slideway oil floating on top of coolant.
SUMP SOAKER can abosrb the tramp oil – but will not fix your issue.
